Flame resistant aluminum foil facing Construction:

Aluminum foil: 7Microns / Polyethylene /Tri-directional Fiberglass Scrim / Kraft 60gsm (other Kraft is available)/fire resistant coating

Application:

 FSK60AR is a flame resistant FSK Facing (Foil-Scrim-Kraft) with tri-directional fiberglass scrim and 60gsm Kraft, used under roof decking, under attic rafters, over existing attic insulation, in floors, walls and crawl spaces, and in industrial and commercial buildings to block radiant heat coming into house during the summer and retain indoor heat generated during the winter as a radiant barrier for its low emissivity.

Also used as a moisture vapor barrier facing in air conditioning ductworks and cold rooms.

Benefit:

• Flame resistant aluminum foil, it is suitable for insulation applications where a general use vapor retarder is needed.
• Single sided aluminum foil insulation (facing) is an economical duct wrap and radiant heat insulation.
• Aluminum foil insulation as a radiant barrier stops up to 95% of radiant heat transfer which improves the performance of the insulating material
